Aquisition and Structuring With MAScan Enhanced

MAScan Enhanced was developed to fulfill the requirements for the electronic archiving of large amounts of paper documents. On the one hand it can process documents available as images or PDFs and on the other hand it can also directly control a scanner via a twain interface.

With the help of an automatically executed OCR and templates, meta data are read out and stored together with the created PDFs. The generated PDF files fulfill the PDF/A-1b standard for long-term archiving.

Assistance functions support the user in his work:
- automatic cover sheet recognition
- integrated full text search
- image optimization (rotating, zooming)

MAScan Enhanced possesses an interface with which it can directly communicate with m/archive . In this case processed stacks are no longer stored locally, but are transferred to m/archive for archiving.
